Kenneth J. Milne and Timothy R. Cook
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Kenneth J. Milne has joined the firm’s Houston office as a senior attorney and Timothy R. Cook is a new associate in the office, both are in the Construction Practice Group.

Faria. “Ken brings a wealth of experience in all phases of construction law, including his recent general counsel role with a privately held mechanical contractor in Texas. Tim also is an outstanding addition to our team of construction litigators.”
Mr. Milne focuses his practice on construction matters related to contracts, litigation, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance. He has significant experience handling commercial and maritime cases, representing clients in Texas and Louisiana state courts and federal courts, and in arbitration hearings.
Prior to joining Bradley, Mr. Milne was vice president and general counsel at Way Service, Ltd., one of the nation’s largest mechanical contractors. In addition to his legal role, Mr. Milne was a member of the company’s business management team and oversaw an operations and sales team.
Mr. Milne received his J.D. (cum laude) from South Texas College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas.
Mr. Cook focuses his practice primarily on commercial and construction litigation. Previously, he clerked with Judge Tad Halbach, formerly the presiding judge of the 333rd Civil District Court.
Mr. Cook received his J.D. (summa cum laude) from South Texas College of Law, where as a student he worked as a teaching assistant for professors who taught civil procedure and contracts to first-year law students. He received his Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) from St. Edwards University.
Last year, Bradley received the Law Firm Award from the Construction Lawyers Society of America in recognition of the firm’s “high acumen and ability in construction law, construction arbitration, surety and/or other construction-related fields.” Bradley also was named the nation’s Construction Law “Law Firm of the Year” in last year’s edition of the “Best Law Firms” legal industry guide published by Best Lawyers and U.S. News & World Report.
